Disturbing. I would hope those poor critters were at least put to good use at the dinner table. While I realize that feral pigs can cost a farmer money through lost crops, I know that helicopters aren't cheap. Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to live-trap and re-domesticate these pigs?
This video would have been much more enjoyable if the farmer had instead run some feral politicians across his fields.
Dave - I've read that the pigs can destroy acres overnight. I believe these critters are feral for generations. Don't think you can re-domesticate, per se.
I'd let the pigs have a go at the pols first. Then we'd see which was really feral.
